STATISTICAL INFORMATION FOR FAITH CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

I. ACT/SAT SCORES

Faith Christian School students have taken the ACT and SAT college entrance exams.  We have compiled an average of these scores in Table A and Table B.

II. PLAN SCORES

Faith Christian School offers the PLAN Assessment to all sophomores.  We have compiled averages of these scores in Table C.

III. PSAT SCORES

Faith Christian School offers the PSAT assessment to all juniors.  We have had 5 National Merit Finalists in the last nine years.

IV. STANFORD TEST SCORES

Faith Christian School offers the Stanford Achievement Test to students in Kindergarten through 10th grade.  We have compiled averages for the last three years and they are available upon request.

V. ADVANCED PLACEMENT COURSES

Faith Christian School offers Advanced Placement courses in U.S. History and Calculus.  No student has scored below a 3 on any of the Advanced Placement tests.

VI. AATM STATE MATHEMATICS TESTING

Faith Christian School has participated in the AATM State Mathematics competition.  On five occasions we have had our students place in the top ten percent in the State and four times Faith students have placed in the top ten in their division.  Faith Christian School has also received a top ten school plaque.

VII. GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

The graduation requirements of Faith Christian School are as high as the requirements of the public schools in our district.  In a few instances, our requirements are actually higher.  A complete listing of courses required for graduation is included in Table F.  Also included is the grading scale that we use.

VIII. GRADUATES IN COLLEGE

Faith Christian School graduates have had no difficulty in being accepted at two and four year institutions in and out of state.  A breakdown of all our graduates is given in Table G.

IX. COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS

Several of Faith Christian School graduates have sought and received college scholarships.  A breakdown of these scholarships is given in Table H.

X. NCAA ACCEPTANCE

Faith Christian School credits have been accepted by the NCAA as appropriate for athletic eligibility in NCAA institutions.

XI. TRADITIONAL EDUCATION

Faith Christian School is a traditional high school in every sense of the word.  We are not an “academic only” school but also include studies in Spanish, art, drama, music, computers, journalism, debate, and speech.  Faith has a fully equipped computer lab.  We also offer the opportunity for students to compete in interscholastic athletics, being charter members of the Arizona Independent Christian School sports league.
